Poe was a part of the Witness Clean-up Crew from Keller Chemical Plant after the disaster. She was the leader of the group of officers working out of the police station. She is the one to talk to LaShawn Devereux when he shows up at the station looking for help after the water turned off at Kent High School.
She is portrayed by Raushanah Simmons.
Pre-Season[]
It is assumed that before the Keller Chemical Plant disaster she worked high up at the plant with Grover and Mary Jones's father, since she was important enough to be able to lead a team who all knew the real cause of the disaster.
Season 2[]
Trespass[]
In the flashback to show whatLaShawn Devereux has been doing since leaving Kent High School, it shows him make it to the Police Station, where he assumes he has found help for the water supply shortage at the school.
When he walks into the station it shows Poe giving orders to a few others in the station before they notice LaShawn has come in. They rush over to him as he collapses.
When LaShawn wakes up Poe is waiting in the room, she explains what medical attention they've given him and digs for information about the others at the High School. They are interrupted by one of her colleagues who informs her about Jake and Birdie's escape. She tells LaShawn that she needs to go and gives him some water, saying she'll be back to debrief him and reassures him that she is sending help to the High School, but she locks the door while leaving which worries LaShawn.
When she comes back into the room she finds the bed empty, and the doorknob on the floor. She has the entire building looking for him on strict orders not to let him go, and heads upstairs to look for him herself. When she finds one of the doors locked she yells for keys knowing he's in there. But before she can get in, he escapes through one of the windows.
Back to present day at the High School, LaShawn lets Zoe Parker and Barrett McIntyre know that Poe and her team are coming, and that they aren't good people.
Poe enters the school with O'Grady and a few others, after assessing the situation. Her and her team slowly clear the building looking for the survivors. She enters the classroom where LaShawn has hidden with Zoe, Barrett, Diesel Turner, Grover Jones, and Violet Adams. In order to keep her from finding the others, LaShawn gives himself up. Poe leads him out of the room at gun point.
Poe ties him to a chair to interrogate him about where his friends are. When all he is willing to say is that they must have left the school, she puts the intercom on so that his friends will have to listen while she tortures him.
Grover uses O'Grady's radio to ask for backup from Poe, so she takes LaShawn at gunpoint through the hallways. When they reach the science wing, Grover, Diesel, and Barrett try to come up with a plan to save LaShawn, and when Poe and LaShawn round the corner, they come across O'Grady's body being eating by three 'Freaks'. LaShawn tries to use this as a way to escape and elbows her in the face, but she lays him out on the ground with a gun to his back. She breaks his leg in order to get away from the 'Freaks' before him, and his scream draws the 'Freaks' over. She then leaves him there struggling to get away.
She gathers the rest of her team and they leave, as she assumes that LaShawn was the only survivor and that the mutants had taken care of him. She radios in that the High School had been cleared and that the team was heading back.
